Dr. Canali is a Principal Scientist currently serving as a business developer, project manager, consultant, and as a liaison professional for services enveloping multidisciplinary themes in the fields of engineering, environment, financial analysis, economic and institutional development and capacity development. His professional experience varies from a solid basic engineering background to a complex multidisciplinary competence. These qualifications resulted from his participation in over 50 projects in South-Central and North America, Africa, and South East Asia. He has managed many engineering projects particularly involved with the design of hydraulic structure, river mechanics and environmental analysis. Dr. Canali has teaching experience, which includes several years as a professor of Hydrology, Erosion/Sedimentation and Hydrometry, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is experienced in software development, and has produced many mathematical models in the areas of Fluvial Morphology, Erosion/Sedimentation and Environment.
