Design Build drainage design
Integrating design criteria and coordinating with many differing
disciplines and municipalities is a specific challenge when working under
the advanced time frame of design build projects. The GKCC team has participated in
several of these projects, and is familiar with the specific constraints
inherent to this fast-paced environment.
Recent design build projects include the
120th Avenue connection in Broomfield, COSMIX I-25 expansion
in Colorado Springs, and the TREX I-25 epansion project through Denver.
 GKCC
has extensive design experience with highway and light-rail drainage
systems. We are thoroughly familiar with FHWA guidance documents
for drainage design as well as various local standards. We gained
significant experience in drainage design for light-rail on the T-REX
project.
